Dr. Jannay P. Valdez has been a Texas educator for more than 29 years. He has served as a teacher, a coach, a Principal, a Dean, a college instructor, and as a department head. He has also been a real estate broker and investor. He has earned 7 college degrees, including the doctorate. He has attended Texas A & M University, The University of North Texas, Dallas Baptist University, Southern Methodist University, The University of Texas (Arlington), and Mt. View College. In 1995 he co-authored (with Judge Bob E. Hefner) Billy the Kid: Killed IN New Mexico -- Died In Texas (Outlaw Publications).

As A history major in college, he has always been fascinated with the story of Billy the Kid. Having Validated by research that William Henry Roberts was actually Billy the Kid, he felt compelled to help publicize the truth. He is owner an curator of the Billy the Kid / Outlaw Museum in Caton, Texas which promotes Billy the Kid (Brushy Bill Roberts), Jesse W. James (J. Frank Dalton), the Kennedy Assassination (pointing the finger at L.B.J.) and Bonnie & Clyde. Judge Robert E. Hefner (Hico, Texas), Dr. Jannay P. Valdez & Brett L. Hall (Alton, Illinois (CSA) are the three Billy the Kid / Brushy Bill Roberts partners.)
